World Dolf Federation
The governing body for DOLF and publisher of the Dart Game Encyclopedia
§1What is the WDFF?
The World Dolf Federation (WDFF) is the official governing body for DOLF, the dart-golf hybrid game invented in 1999 by Keith and Mike Meyer. The WDFF maintains the official rules, sanctions tournaments, and preserves the history and records of the game.
In addition to governing DOLF, the WDFF publishes DolfDarts.com — the Dart Game Encyclopedia, a comprehensive reference covering 163 dart game variants with rules, strategy, and the first mechanics-based taxonomy of dart games.
§2Mission
The WDFF exists to promote darts as an accessible, social, and endlessly varied sport. Our mission has three pillars:
- Preserve — maintain the official rules of DOLF, document its history, and keep all-time records.
- Educate — build the most comprehensive and accurate collection of dart game rules anywhere on the web.
- Grow — introduce new players to the game through accessible rules, training resources, and community events.
§3Leadership
The WDFF is led by:
Muhammad Ishfaq
President, World Dolf Federation
Based in Pakistan, Muhammad has been instrumental in growing the DOLF community internationally and bringing the game to new audiences across South Asia.
§4Get Involved
Whether you’re a casual pub player or a competitive league thrower, there are many ways to get involved with the WDFF and the dart game community:
- Play DOLF — learn the official rules and introduce the game to your local dart league.
- Submit a game — know a dart game variant that’s not in our encyclopedia? Contact us with the rules and we’ll add it.
- Host a tournament — interested in hosting a WDFF-sanctioned DOLF tournament? Reach out for tournament guidelines and support.
